Exclaimer price increase: what Standard now costs

Exclaimer price increase: what Standard now costs

The Exclaimer price increase is simple to state: its Standard plan now costs £1.10 per user per month, billed annually, where it cost £0.95 in October 2026. That is a rise of 15.8 per cent, or £1.80 per user per year, and it reaches you at your next renewal.

How much has the Exclaimer price increase added?

Exclaimer's pricing page, read as a UK visitor on 2 November 2026, shows Standard at £1.10 per user per month, billed annually. The same page showed £0.95 when we read it in October 2026. Starter is unchanged at £0.70 and Pro at £1.35. Here is what the change means for a year on Standard:

UsersStandard at £0.95Standard at £1.10Extra each year
10£114.00£132.00£18.00
50£570.00£660.00£90.00
100£1,140.00£1,320.00£180.00
250£2,850.00£3,300.00£450.00
500£5,700.00£6,600.00£900.00

Exclaimer's own price simulator agrees: it gives £660 a year for 50 users on Standard. Its page does not say whether the prices include VAT.

What Standard gives you for £1.10

The plan itself has not shrunk. Exclaimer lists unlimited signature templates, different signatures for departments and teams, targeting and exclusion rules, disclaimer management, scheduled signatures and campaign banners, three brand kits and two fields each person can edit. The usage dashboard, the audit log, HRIS directory integration, meeting branding and unlimited brand kits stay on Pro, at £1.35.

So the question at renewal is not what you lose. It is whether you are paying more than you need to for what you use.

When the new price reaches you

Exclaimer's renewal process article, read in October 2026, says reminders go out 90, 60 and 30 days before renewal, that an annual price increase is among the things that may affect a renewal quote, and that 30 days' notice is needed to cancel. In practice the new price arrives with your renewal quote, and the date that matters is 30 days before your renewal, not the renewal itself.

Your options before you renew

  1. Accept it. If you use the targeting rules and the scheduled banners, Standard may still be the right plan, and £1.80 per user per year is small next to the time a move takes.
  2. Ask for the old price. A renewal quote is a starting point. Ask whether a longer commitment or a prompt payment holds your current rate.
  3. Drop to Starter. At £0.70 it costs less than you paid before, but it has one template, one brand kit, no targeting rules and no banner scheduling.
  4. Move to another product. Worth doing only if it saves money without losing what you rely on, and only if you start in good time.

What the same seats cost on Footer365

Footer365 is one product with every feature: rules, unlimited templates, scheduled banner campaigns, A/B tests, click analytics, disclaimers and the audit log are in every seat. On a 12-month term, excluding VAT, from our pricing page:

UsersExclaimer Standard a yearFooter365 a year
10£132.00£78.00
50£660.00£360.00
100£1,320.00£588.00
250£3,300.00£1,260.00
500£6,600.00£2,400.00

Shared mailboxes get signatures without taking a seat, and there is no minimum number of users. Where Exclaimer is the better fit, say so to yourself honestly: it supports Google Workspace, which Footer365 does not, and its pricing page lists a long set of security certifications. Footer365 is built for Microsoft 365 alone.

Questions people ask about the increase

Does the increase apply to Starter and Pro?

No. On 2 November 2026 Starter was still £0.70 and Pro £1.35 per user per month, the same as in October 2026.

Will my price go up before my renewal?

A subscription paid for the year runs at the price agreed for that year. The new price is what your renewal quote is likely to show.

How long does a move take?

Footer365 is set up in about ten minutes, and a trial can run beside your current product on a pilot group. The order that avoids a gap or a double signature is in switching from another signature service.

What to do next

Put your notice date in the diary now: 30 days before your renewal. If you are weighing a move, the Exclaimer alternative page sets the two products side by side, and the switching offer gives up to four months free, including the trial, to an organisation moving from another paid signature product.
