Moving to Footer365 from another email signature product? The closer you are to your renewal, the more months you get free.
| Months left on your current contract | Free with Footer365 |
|---|---|
| None, or up to 4 | 4 months |
| More than 4, up to 8 | 3 months |
| More than 8, up to 12 | 2 months |
Each includes your 30-day free trial, which counts as the first free month. The months are counted from the day you claim to the renewal or end date on your proof. With more than 12 months left, you have the free trial only.
Any organisation that uses a paid email signature product for Microsoft 365 from another supplier, such as Exclaimer, CodeTwo, Letsignit, Signature 365, Rocketseed or Crossware, or that stopped using one in the last 12 months. Free tools, Outlook's own signatures and signatures made by hand do not count. Each Microsoft 365 organisation can be given the offer once, and only if it has not had a paid Footer365 subscription before.
The offer is for a committed term of 12, 24 or 36 months. A monthly subscription has the free trial only.
In the first 14 days of your trial, choose a 12, 24 or 36-month term and claim the offer under Billing in your Footer365 portal. Upload your current supplier's latest invoice or renewal notice. It must show the supplier, the product, your organisation and the renewal or end date. If you are out of contract, send an invoice from the last 12 months. If you buy through a reseller, your reseller claims for you.
We aim to check the proof within two working days, and always decide within 7 days of your claim, so you know before your trial ends. We tell you how many months you have, counted from the day you claim to the date on the proof. If we approve fewer months than your claim showed, you may withdraw your claim until your trial ends, and your subscription goes back to the billing option it had before. Your trial is not extended while we check: it ends on its usual day, and your term and its monthly invoices then start as for any committed term.
Your free trial is your first free month. For each of your other free months, each monthly invoice we raise after we approve your claim, or after your trial ends if we approve it during your trial, carries a line "Switching Offer Discount" that takes off one month's charge for your seats, before VAT, until every free month has been given. An invoice whose total is nothing is not collected. The free months are part of your 12, 24 or 36-month term, which starts when your trial ends.
Add a payment card before your trial ends: without one, signatures pause, as for any trial, even though the invoices that carry your free months cost nothing.
The free months come on top of our charity, education and public sector discount and our discounts for two and three-year terms.
Claiming the offer commits you to the term you chose: the free months are given in return for it. When we decide your claim we tell your account owner and accounts contact by email, and show it in your portal.
If we refuse your claim, your subscription goes back to the billing option it had before you claimed.
If we take more than 7 days to decide, then until we decide you may withdraw your claim and go back to the billing option you had before, or, once your trial has ended, cancel and pay what a monthly subscription would have cost: our monthly price for your seats for every day from the end of your trial to your last day, less what we have invoiced or will invoice for those days, with nothing more to pay for the term. Anything already invoiced at the term's price when you go back to an earlier billing option is put right on your next invoice. The full rules are in section 6.8 of our Customer Agreement.
Bring your existing signature with our import tool, follow our switching guide, and email us at [email protected] at any point during the move. Migration help is guided self-service: we do not do the import for you.
If your reseller claims the offer for you, the credits go on your reseller's invoice for you, and Footer365 does not bill your reseller for your free months. If you cancel after a late decision as section 5 allows, we charge your reseller the amount section 5 describes, and your reseller may charge you for it.
We may change or end this offer for claims made after the change, and the date of any change is shown on this page. A claim keeps the terms in force on the day it was made. We may refuse a claim when the proof does not show what is needed. If we approved your claim on proof that was not true or not your organisation's, we may end your free months: no further credit is given, and your next invoice charges back every credit already given, as section 6.8 (g) of our Customer Agreement says.
We use your proof only to check your claim, and keep it for as long as you have an account with us.
