Pricing, answered

How are seats counted?
You never choose a number of seats. Each month you are billed for the user mailboxes in your Microsoft 365 directory, whether or not they receive a signature. Shared, room and equipment mailboxes are not counted, so signing them costs nothing. The billing page of the portal shows the count. See Shared mailboxes and seats.
Do I need a credit card for the trial?
No. The 30-day trial is full-featured and needs no card to start. To carry on after it, add a card before the trial ends - we remind you by email as the end approaches. If you decide not to continue, tell us and nothing is charged.
What happens when my number of users changes?
Your bill follows it, with nothing to change. On a monthly subscription each invoice is for the user mailboxes counted then. On a 12, 24 or 36-month term, the seats you commit to are the user mailboxes counted on the day the term starts, and you are never billed for fewer during the term. Mailboxes you add are billed on top only for the months you have them, so they fall away again when you remove them. At renewal the commitment is counted again, so it goes down if you have fewer users. A Microsoft 365 annual subscription lets you add licences during the term but, after the first few days, not remove them until it renews; we never hold you to seats you added part-way through.
Can I cancel, and do you give refunds?
You can cancel at any time. A monthly subscription needs no notice, and ends on the last day of the month in which you cancel. A 12, 24 or 36-month term is priced lower because you commit to its seats for the whole term, so if you cancel part-way the rest of the term is still payable - monthly as normal, or in one payment - and seats can only be reduced when the term ends. The free trial is there to evaluate Footer365 before you pay, so fees are not refundable unless we charged you in error. The full detail is in our cancellation and refund policy.
Is there a setup or migration fee?
Never. Onboarding and migration are free, including moving you across from another provider.
